û
Must write 5 poems of your
own using one of the types that we discussed in class.
Poems can be typed using any font or size that you wish.
û
Must include one poem (in
addition to the five you write) written by someone else.
You must write the author’s name with the title of the poem somewhere on
the page.
û
Each page must be
illustrated. DO NOT illustrate each
page with pictures from the Internet or Clip Art.
At least four of the poems should be illustrated BY YOU!!!
û
Must include a cover and back
to your book. Your cover must be
illustrated with your own illustrations and include a title.
Also must include a table of contents as the first page.
Simply list your poems and the page number that they can be found on.
Also, this is where you are going to tell me what type of poem it is (ex.
Haiku).
û
The last page in your book
should include the following:
Name
Date (Month, Day, and Year)
Teacher’s Name (Mrs. Fuiten)
Year in School

Each of the books will be
bound in class, so leave some room on the right margin of your paper so your
