My name is Michelle Fuiten and the 2009-2010 school year will be my sixth year teaching.  I can’t believe I have been teaching for six years!  I married Howie Fuiten in September 2005 and together we have one beautiful boy, Carson, who is two on September 13.  He is the love of my life!  I am so proud!  I have taught a variety of subjects that range from 4th grade homeroom to 8th grade Religion to Pre-K computer.  As you can see, I am  very diverse!  I absolutely love my job and love the students I work with.  They keep my young!  I went to Western Illinois University and graduated in 2004 with an undergrad degree in Elementary education with a middle school endorsement in English and Social Studies.  A few years ago I received my Master’s Degree in education with a focus in literacy from Dominican University.  As a child I was born and raised in Lincoln, and went to Carroll Catholic School myself.  I even had some of the same teachers that still teach here today!
